GWAR

To understand what a GWAR concert consists of... would be like trying to explain the inter-generational ramifications of post-nuclear apocolyptic war. You just can't comprehend such chaos, surrealism, and mayhem. But I'll try... and remember... this is a censored rendition.

GWAR is pure and utter spectacle. They opened by having a "man" come up on stage which they quickly decapetated for cussing them out, tore his arms off, and then helped him spray "blood" on the audience, in the mosh pit, and all over the stage through where his head used to be. Their next stunt consisted of Tearing Arnold Schwarzeneggar limb from limb, exposing his intestines, and so on. Other stunts consisted of Michael Jackson, George W. Bush, Osama Bin Laden, and Ronald Reagan. This is all occuring while speed death metal plays, strobe lights fill your head with thoughts of seizures, and a throng of far-from sober metalheads kick each other in the teeth. The audience got in a fight with the band, a few people got knocked out in the pit, multiple fights, and of course the ever popular "slaves" that decided to start punching the audience in the face.









Insanity, offensiveness, vulgarity, destruction, crazy Antarctican aliens that play death metal, and disregard for everything... EVERYTHING... is the only way I can summarize such an event.
