Confirmation

I went outside to look at the sunset of the day. Oooo that's a cool band name - Sunset of the Day. Use it, but I, herein, copyright said phrase. OK I was just outside looking at the clouds and pretty colours when the two kids from the first apartment in our complex came outside and said

girl: "you can come inside!!!"
me: "no thanks"
boy: "what're you doing???"
girl: "he's waiting for someone"
boy: "are you waiting for someone???"
me: "yup"
boy: "who are you waiting for?!?"
me: "my roommate"
boy: "why!?"
girl: "don't ask questions!"

They then went and hid behind a car and watched me stand there. Their mom then came out.

mom: "ok come inside, you can't be out here"
kids: "but we want to stand outside with him!"
mom: "you can't, you have to come inside, it's not safe around the street without someone watching you"
boy: "but he's our Dad!!!"
mom: "come inside NOW"
boy: "but Dad will watch us!!"
mom: "that's not funny, inside NOW"

While this happened I pretended to talk in my cell phone.
