Last week I made Fabrice and Burak go to Rancho's for lunch after a meeting we had to discuss Pleenk. They agreed to get the shittake mushroom burrito even though they are both extreme carnivores. They both ended up loving it and I heard "are you SURE this isn't meat??!?" and "this HAS to be chicken!!!" the whole meal. I got an e-mail from Fabrice right after we got home just saying "Dude, that burrito was AWESOME!". Apparently Burak ended up not liking it after the fact, he decided it was too spicy, but Fabrice brings it up every time I talk to him now.
On Thursday night i went with Purganan, Meredith, and Michelle over to Whitney's parents' house in Poway to have a "The Office" marathon. We arrived around 5pm, ate, and watched all but one episode of The Office season 2, then watched the entire special on BBC America and then the documentary on "How I Made The Office by Ricky Gervais". Needless to say we didn't leave until after midnight. It was nice to hang out with P and Meredith and see Gaye, Scott, and Derek as well (Whitney's family).
Friday I had more work, met with Derren to discuss their new CD's artwork, website, etc. and hung out around the apartment for most of the day. Later in the evening Matt and I went dumpster diving (see previous post) and then I went to the NBH for a few hours just to sit and talk with friends. Stef, Tiana, Eric and I got nostalgic and talked about last winter and how it's now been a year since I've been hanging out with them. Crazy.
Saturday afternoon Michelle and I went to Balboa Park and just walked around for the whole afternoon. We ate at the cafe, took the free tram ride, and then spread out her sleeping bag and watched some SD Sheriffs play some rookie Police Academy cops in football. Later last night Tiana, Eric and I got pizza from Little Caesar's and then Michelle and I watched Cruel Intentions.
That's about it for the last few days.
