I'm not sure how long it will be available, but on Google Video you can see the entire movie of Why We Fight. I just finished it; it's really well done and gives some great perspective not only on the military-industrial complex, democracy, capitalism, and the use of premptive strikes, but also features some really good interjections of understanding for the USA's involvement in political, economic, and spiritual policy throughout the world (namely by a former CIA agent at the 1 hour mark).
He may have been the ultimate icon of 1950s conformity and postwar complacency, but Dwight D. Eisenhower was an iconoclast, visionary, and the Cassandra of the New World Order. Upon departing his presidency, Eisenhower issued a stern, cogent warning about the burgeoning "military industrial complex," foretelling with ominous clarity the state of the world in 2004 with its incestuous entanglement of political, corporate, and Defense Department interests.
