2006 Macworld Conference & Expo

First up: Adobe Labs (Macromedia) introduces Lightroom. The contender to Apple's Aperture. Interesting that they would release this new project during the expo...

I downloaded the beta, and I must say, it's fast. There was no install, just the app. It has potential for sure. It's not as pretty, not as intuitive, and not as shortcut-filled, but hey - it's a Beta!

A new iPod remote with FM receiver.

And here it is!!! The MacBook Pro. What would be the PowerBook G5. With a dual core Intel chip. Up to four times the speed of the PowerBook G4. Eight times the graphics bandwidth. With built-in iSight for instant video conferencing on the move. And Front Row with Apple Remote to dazzle everyone in the room. Wait no more. MacBook Pro starts at just $1999. I'm getting one. Anyone want to buy a 15'' PowerBook? No, really...

Also an update to iLife and a faster iMac. Although, that's not really for me. But I'm sure iWeb, even though it will raise the bar for self-made sites, will start to be the baine of my existence. 5tUp1D n00bz.
