Just got back from the day's trip to the Key Club in LA for the In Reverent Fear show. Jeff ended up riding up to LA with us because there wasn't enough room in the van, so it was a little crowded, but we arrived with plenty of time to spare - in other words, catch the game and eat pizza. The first band went on around 8:30pm - called Macro Sync, i think. They were actually quite good. A little hoakey in how much they were trying (all white, the lead singer talked with a British accent althoug they're from New Orleans) but their music was right on. Kind of a harder recant of Devo or some other 80's synth rock. Good stuff though. IRF rocked the house with their new songs. They sounded quite good - it was a great venue for them. The last band was bad, so we left. So without further ado, here are the pics of the evening:
Is this me on a billboard??
We waited for the concert to start.
Macro Sync:
Don, not so much enjoying Macro Sync, but loved IRF.
