Tedious, mundane tasks have plagued my workflow for the past couple weeks. Correcting colors for navigation, copying and pasting text, bar graphs, and uploading/downloading files for the most part. Obviously I haven't been very enthusiastic about doing all of this, so work has seemed very slow. I'm working on this - trying a few new venues to see what pops up. "The Group" is meeting on Wednesday to shoot some ideas around - perhaps I can get some work from that. Not that I need to worry with filling up my bandwidth, but I simply want more creative/productive projects to work on. I have a feeling I could get caught in working on small tasks like these for the rest of my life if I'm not careful (not that I'd ever let myself do that). It's just nice since it brings in some money and keeps me busy. Anyways... this last week contained (in no particular order) fun at Moose McGillycuddy's, Earth Day at Balboa Park (Happy Wu-Tang Day) - also known as attack of the killer fundies, lunch with Rach, lunch with Derren and Mark, panel review for Michael Matosian, Bread of Life, Thai Time, Nati's, Tiny's, Deco's, grocery shopping at Henry's, church picnic with bocce ball, Simpsons and Family Guy at the Wright's, and ever so much more.
Tonight I went to Pizza Nova for Mark's birthday shin-dig, then to the Bean Bar for their one year anniversary where Herms, Derren, et al played with a couple DJs, then went to Mark and Derren's apartment for a quick night cap of Martinelli's apple cider, CSI NYC, and a jaunt back to mi casa. I'm pretty dang tired, so perhaps I'll stay in tonight, but we'll see. It's only 10:34pm and I'm a young eligible bachelor. I should be able to stir something up.
