Accident
I've been doing all kinds of stuff over the last week. My Dad is now in town - we went to Pizza Nova today for lunch, then to PLNU and OB for a bit, then bummed around my apartment for the afternoon and saw The Aviator tonight. We just got back and grabbed some Mexican food (introduced him to rolled tacos). No big plans for tomorrow but we'll probably play some tennis. Let's see... what else has gone on? There have been some beginnings of a few... managerial changes in Dodeci - I'll wait until everything is finalized before I make everything public. I also met up with Brandon Maseda of The Lift Consulting Group this week and have started doing some work for them for some new packages for XaviX and their products. It's a great client to have and looks like we'll have quite a bit of work for a while. We're talking about finding an office space soon and will possibly work something out in other areas as well (starting some other business ventures). I also met Krassy a couple times - once with Brandon and once at the THiN room during the digital photography gallery last night. I also took a trip with Chelsea, Renee, and Chelsea's friend from PA, Dan, to Baja California, Mexico for Wednesday and part of Thursday. La Fonda to be more specific. We got a hotel and just bummed around, played Uno, went to La Bufadora to see a blowhole, and relaxed. I'll show some pics here soon. I finished the poster for the sustainability conference (check it out here) and also some work for Blake up in PB. I'm getting quite a bit of work now, and looks like things will be moving along nicely. I'm running a little bit ragged, but I'd rather have more work than I know what to do with instead of nothing at all. Oh ya - and also earlier this week I went out to Shelter Island for lunch by myself and then went out on Cabrillo National Monument and walked through the military cemetery for a while. Actually quite peaceful.
