Dream log - 10-17-2004

I was working in an inner city YMCA and after talking to some of the guys from Hawaii (Daniel, etc) they helped me make a music video with the Beastie Boys for Dodeci. I was talking to Mike D after the video shoot and he said companies like ours need to come up with a jingle - especially for websites. I said ya, but think about how much NBC paid for their's. It's not an easy thing to do. Then I remembered I forgot my camera back in the youth room so I walked through a hallway and into a room that had a pond, plants, and a very small ledge that I had to walk on to get my camera. On my way back outside of the room a very obese couple and the wife's daughter were walking in and the man was yelling at the woman talking about how he shouldn't have kissed her toe and gotten married in the first place. Then he got on the ledge and I had to walk by him. I walked by the daughter and mother and heard the mom say "well if this is the first time we've gone out after we're married maybe it's a sign" and i said "i agree" (she didn't hear me the first few times, but finally got it), so this meant she was going to get a divorce. I was then sitting out in front of the YMCA with J and there was an 8 year old kid next to me selling crack (although it looked like ice cubes in a bag) to gangsters that walked by. J kept getting mad and I was trying to explain to the kid that it's just money and who cares. There was a big dog. Lots and lots of kids were outside, it was night time, and older teenagers were recruiting them to sell drugs. Then I looked across the street and J-Lo walked in to a building. Everyone went "WHOA! J-Lo!!". We then saw her through the window and she looked right at me, I waved, she waved back and i thought i'd play a joke on all the kids outside so i said "hey J-lo, call me later, ok?" She walked back outside, walked right up to me, puckered her lips (which had bright green lipstick on) and said "ok honey, i'll call you later" and kissed me. I acted like it was no big deal and she walked back inside. I turned to the right where all my friends were sitting and they were all just staring at me with their jaws dropped. I just laughed and laughed and laughed because they were so stunned. It was awesome.
